But what is the most popular side dish to top your sausage with? You might think that the trusty ketchup is the clear favorite, but the fact is that mustard seems to be even more popular among Swedes.
This is according to a new survey conducted which has investigated Canadians sausage habits. Ketchup comes second, followed by roasted onions in third place.
Almost everyone likes hot dogs
The survey shows that sausages are a big favorite among Canadians. A full 92% say they eat meat or plant-based sausages. The most common beverage with hot dogs is water – followed by soft drinks and beer.
