You’ve been dreaming of ketogenic spring rolls for a long time , and now they’re finally happening! We have a recipe for low carb and keto spring rolls that will work even for our vegans and vegetarians on a low carb and keto diet !
The spring roll is richly stuffed with delicious fresh vegetables such as green onions, carrots and peppers ! To make the dough we use our Simply Keto pizza mix, which contains almond and bamboo flour instead of wheat flour and is therefore gluten free.
Hello Taste’s sweet and sour sauce gives the spring rolls an Asian flavor. It also contains no added sugar. It is also low in carbs and calories, gluten free and suitable for vegans!

Ingredients for 6 pieces.
For the dough
- 1/2 package of Simply Keto Pizza Mix
- 10 g olive oil
- 200 g cold water
For the filling
- 2 carrots
- 1 green onion
- 1/4 red bell pepper
- 1 tsp. low-carb sweet and sour sauce
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- Salt and pepper
In addition
- Coconut oil for frying
- Almond flour for sprinkling
preparation
For the stuffing
- Peel the carrots and slice them into thin straws. Also cut the green onions into 10 cm long strips.
- Cut the peppers into small pieces.
- Heat the coconut oil in a large frying pan and fry the vegetables for 5-10 minutes, until the carrots are soft.
- Season with sweet and sour sauce, salt and pepper.
For the dough
- Knead the dough from the baking mix with the water and olive oil until smooth.
- Form the dough into 6 balls.
- Place baking paper on a work surface and sprinkle with a little almond flour.
- Place one of the balls on top one by one.
- Wrap the balls in food wrap and roll them very thinly into a rectangle.
- The filling turns out best with one end of the rectangle facing you. Now place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the middle or closer to the bottom edge of the dough and wrap the tip up. Fold the right and left ends toward the middle and roll the roll up.
- Do the same with the remaining rolls.
Stir-frying
- Heat the coconut oil in a small shallow pan so that the rolls can float in it.
- Drop the rolls one by one into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
