Steps of preparation
1 RECIPE FOR PIZZA DOUGH:
Put the yeast and sugar in a small bowl, add 2 tablespoons of warm water and about 1 tablespoon of flour, stir and leave to rise for about 15 minutes until the mixture starts to foam.
Mix the flour and salt in a bowl. Make a well in the center of the mixture, pour in the olive oil, the yeast and the remaining water. Knead everything into a smooth and even dough.
Transfer the kneaded pizza dough to a floured work surface and knead for a few minutes, put it back in the bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel and leave it in a warm place to rise until it has doubled in volume (about 1 hour).
Knead the risen pizza dough again for 2 minutes, stretch it a little with your hands, transfer it to a pastry board and shape it into the desired shape. The finished pizza base should not be more than 6 mm thick, as it will rise again during baking.
2 RECIPE FOR TOMATO PIZZA SAUCE:
Place the canned tomatoes, garlic, basil and olive oil in a wide-bottomed saucepan. Season with salt and pepper and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes until the pizza sauce thickens slightly. Then add the tomato paste and let cool slightly.
3 RECIPE FOR HAWAIIAN HAM AND CHEESE PIZZA:
Spread the cooled tomato sauce evenly on the dough. Then add the ham slices, mozzarella cheese, corn, onion and pineapple.
Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes and serve hot with garlic sauce, tomato sauce or ketchup.
Enjoy cooking!
